Registration Policies

There is no late registration. No exceptions. Please read all policies prior to completing your registration. If you do not agree with any of the policies below please do not register for classes.

Refund and Credit Policy

We do not offer refunds for program registrations. In certain situations, account credits may be issued.

  • Credits may be requested up to two (2) weeks before the class start date.

  • Credits do not expire and remain available on your family account.

  • Credits are non-transferable, but may be used by anyone within the same family account.

  • All credit requests must be submitted in writing by emailing our Operations Director, Jennifer Nolan, at [email protected].

IMPORTANT CREDIT INFORMATION:

  • a credit request within 2 weeks of the start of class will be only be considered for extreme circumstance (illness, injuries, hospitalization, etc.)
  • Other sporting schedule conflicts, vacations, carpool issues, not being in class with a friend or your child not liking golf are not considered extreme circumstance.

Please do not register unless you are certain your child can attend classes on the date, time and location you select. The decision to grant a credit within 2 weeks of start date is at the sole discretion of First Tee.

 

Class Makeups and Cancellations

Make-Up Class Sessions Due to Weather

Scholarships

  • “Golferships” for full or partial program fees are always available for any family facing financial hardship.
  • Please apply for financial aid during the registration process if you need assistance.
  • A maximum of 1 in-person make-up class session (1 hour of instruction) will be scheduled if a session is cancelled due to inclement weather.
  • Day of the week, time and location of make-up session may differ from the original session day, time and/or location.
  • It is possible there will be more than one session cancellation due to weather but there will only be (1) in-person session rescheduled due to time, daylight and staff constraints.
  • There are no exceptions to this policy.

Full Class Cancellation Policy

We reserve the right to cancel scheduled classes (8-week sessions) or events at its discretion for low enrollment, location changes, staff changes or any other reason that prohibits the organization from holding scheduled classes.

If a class or activity is cancelled by First Tee – Jersey Shore, credits will be offered to registered families and at the organization’s discretion.
