Help Us Build Game Changers

At First Tee, we help kids discover what’s inside of them, guide them to strengthen it and mentor them to put it into action in everything they do.

We need enthusiastic and caring individuals to serve as positive mentors and role models to kids and teens of various backgrounds.

Our coaches’ ability to develop impactful relationships with our participants is the backbone of our program – and no professional golf experience is required. We provide research-proven training, giving coaches the tools to make kids feel safe, included and empowered!

Coach Roles

Whether you are interested in becoming a Lead Coach, Assistant Coach or Junior Coach, we are looking for dedicated individuals to build out our team and positively impact kids and teens at every age level. Please review our requirements and responsibilities.

Youth Safety

As part of our commitment, all employees, coaches, volunteers and board members will complete a background check before working with our youth. In addition, all employees, coaches, volunteers, and board members will be required to complete the online US Center for SafeSport training program.

Why Coaching Matters

Participants and alumni frequently credit their coaches with helping them discover their character strengths and develop important life lessons. But the impact goes both ways—coaches often experience their own personal growth and transformation through the program.

  • 90% believe they are better at coaching
  • 89% believe they are better at building relationships with youth
  • 86% believe they are a mentor
